Home Days Preparations

The Music Boosters will be having a meeting at the Civic Center on Wednesday, July 16 at 6:30 pm to discuss the details of our Home Days booths and preparations for Band Camp. The 5 booths that we run during Home Days are the Music Department's biggest fundraiser of the year. All students and parents in Vocal and Band are responsible to work at least one shift during Home Days. (50/50 profit split for student FL trip account)

Home Days Booths Signups Mandatory

Parents will sign up for the Pop, Water, Pretzel, Shaved Ice and Ride Ticket Booths at Camp Burton Drop-off or during Parent Night at Camp Burton if they have not already done so on SignUp Genius. www.tinyurl.com/homedays Lina Soo or Nick Sia will be circulating at the above times to sign you up.
How student shifts and designations were assigned:
Squads were assigned shift times by a random draw. Once the 3 squads per shift were determined, the administrator chose the best students for the tasks assigned.
Can my student/squad switch shifts?
Switching shifts for an entire squad is not recommended.
Individual student shifts may be switched if you have the permission of the person you are switching with to do so. You must have a replacement in order switch shifts. Please contact Marcia Abbadini at mrsabba@yahoo.com, or Mr. Schatt to make individual shift changes.

Here's how signing up for shifts works:

  • You will be asked to sign in. (All email and phone information will be for administrator's viewing only)
  • Parents are asked to sign up for one shift. All band students have been assigned a shift and an area in which they are to report. Vocal student signups will be coming soon.
  • Vocal-only parents and students who will not be participating in the parade are asked to sign up for the shifts on Saturday 11-1 and 1-3. After that vocal parents and students can fill in vacant shift times that appear on the rest of the schedule. If you don't see any, we will create more slots. *It is always good to have more scheduled in the event we have no-shows.
